EFEK MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ADVANCE ORGANIZER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI GERAK DI SMA SANTO YOSEPH MEDAN
Abstract
Advance organizer learning model is a learning model designed to strengthen students' cognitive structures, their knowledge of certain subjects and how to manage, clarify, and maintain such knowledge well. This type of research is an experiment with a population of all grade X students of SMA Yos Yoseph Medan consisting from 4 classes. The research sample was taken from 2 classes that were determined by cluster random sampling technique, namely Class X-3 using the advanced organizer learning model using concept maps and class X-4 using conventional learning models. From the results of the study the average value of the experimental class pretest was 37.32 and in the control class the average value of the pretest was 38.09. After treatment in each class, the average value of the posttest in the class with the advance organizer learning model was 77,13 while the students who were taught using the conventional learning model obtained an average score of 67,23 in the student posttest. In the hypothesis testing results obtained Fcount> Ftable is 12.81> 1.67 at the significance level α = 0.05 and dk = 66. This means thank Ha which means that there is influence of advance organizer teaching model to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter straight motion in the first half of class X SMA Santo Yoseph TP 2019/2020.
